Anyone have a lead on a kydex version of the summer special II?
This would be for my TRP as I can sweat through my MS stuff and want something quicker on the draw.
Foolishly I placed an order with Kolbeson for his adjust-a-cant...but I've had no responses from him on any email - sent one today requesting a cancellation.
Any suggestions would be welcomed!
I have a very similar holster from Blade Tech, wear it when I am going to be somewhere like Louisiana in the summer.
Myself and most of the other makers on this forum make a variation of it with an increased variety of mounting options. Blade-Tech's offerings are where I would look for off-the-shelf.
Think for yourself. Question authority.
I have no issue with an order from a smaller shop, would prefer it actually.
Have several Raven holsters - but find the "fold over / taco" design more comfortable when it comes to IWB use - if that matters in offerings.
That Dark Star Gear guy does make good holsters.
JM Custom, DSG or Blade-Tech in a distant third.
Like Chuck said, Blade-Tech's original IWB holster was very close to a kydex Summer Special II. The Nano is very similar, and is more comfortable and stable IMHO.
