    Glock 21 Gen 3 vs Gen 4

For those that have owned/fired both, does the Gen 4 seem any more accurate than the Gen 3?

The short answer for me was no. I did like the slightly reduced feel of the Gen 4 grip but it didn't make any difference in actually performance for me while shooting. Against bare skin I much preferred the Gen 3 texture.

I know longer own either for what it's worth. Has nothing to do with the actual firearm though.

More shootable, but not more accurate.

I have carny hands and could never really get over the size of the Gen3, even the SF model. The Gen4 is small enough that I can get a proper firing grip on it. Doesn't make much difference for the first shot obviously (not talking about drawing....just the physical act of firing the gun), but definitely helps with follow ups.

What Eli said. My last duty gun was a Gen2 G21. I could manage it, but it was almost too large in the grip. My G41 is just enough smaller that it fits me much better. I think it is more accurate, but I haven't had the G21 out to do a head to head comparison. The G41 shoots good, but not as good as my HK45.

I'm a fan of the Gen 4 G21. My first handgun purchase in 1995 was a Gen 2 G21. Since that time, I've owned 4 variations of the G21 including the standard Gen 2/3, SF, and Gen 4. I find the Gen 4 to have a better recoil impulse, and, in my hand, better accuracy. I have no groups to post as proof, just my humble opinion.
I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.
