We could isolate Russia totally from the world and maybe they could apply for membership after 2000 years.

Thanks for testing these! The same bullet has been used in Black Hills and a few other brands. I always got the impression it was a mediocre performer (if that). Performance is underwhelming to say the least.

I bought 1000 of the hybrid hollow points when they were dirt cheap.
Figured they’d be good for loading SHTF ammo that could double as range fodder guilt free.
I loaded them soft at about 1070 fps as I wanted them to stay together and not fragment.
After seeing this test I’m tempted to load some hotter so they’ll at least make 12” even if they fragment.
8-9” is way too shallow in my book.
Even if it is a massive flower.

You could get more penetration but it's posable you may get more fragmentation and less penetration. No way of knowing without testing.

I wonder if this bullet would perform better in 147gr? Less velocity, less expansion, and more weight to help penetration.

It’s my understanding that all the weights use the same nose profile and skives
Obviously that makes the 115 even worse then the 124
Maybe the 147 would get a bit deeper with more a** behind it.
Also you could load it softer (925ish) and not sacrifice reliability.
I wonder if the nose design would still expand at low velocity.
