    Update: The actual stage was/is 3 targets set low and included freestyle and SHO strings with 1 hit to the COM and 1 hit to the CNS required.

    I went to the range and practiced this and also did some dry fire beforehand. I only had two target stands at the range and didn't want to tear my targets apart so practiced with them at 5' and 6' to top of IDPA target.

    Lessons learned: For a right hander, orienting myself towards the right-most target provided the greatest amount of swing through the array. I shot with both elbows raised off the ground for both strings. I found I shot low for whatever reason despite the G17 normally shooting high. I'll attribute that to some aiming nuance for aiming with the eyes rolled to the top of the sockets. The COM hit was in the -0 no problem, but I had to aim at the top 1/3 of the CNS to get a hit in the box. I shot 4 strings freestyle and 3 strings SHO and ran through my self-imposed weekly round allotment (did some other drills beforehand) before getting a chance to put things on the clock.
