I just finished Sword of Justice. The whole Ill Made Knight series is outstanding.

    I'm eagerly awaiting the next.

Have you read the Tom Swan series? Equally good.

No I haven’t but I’m going to now. I’ve been reading his The Long War series too. Great books about a historical period I enjoy.

This was an awesome read. If you like WWII military history and armor you’ll like this book. I read three quarters of it in one sitting.
I just finished Spearhead, which was really good -- the author did an amazing job of getting lots of personal details.

I also recently finished Victor Davis Hanson's "The Second World Wars." It's very dense book, and not a fast read for me, but it had a lot of perspective. Even though I've read a lot of WWII history, there was a great deal of information and analysis that was new to me.

Roy F. Chandler wrote a series about Perry County Pennsylvania and they really good. I have a significant number of them in hardback, but it was time consuming and expensive to track them down. I see that they are on kindle now, free if you have kindle unlimited and pretty inexpensive if you don't. I highly recommend them.

His brother was LTC Norman Chandler who ran Iron Brigade Armory. There are a lot of sniper/counter-sniper stories in the books.

Just started this, really good, and way ahead of its time considering it was written in the 1970's. Same author as Silence of the Lambs.

That was a good book by Harris. Haven't read him in years.
There's nothing civil about this war.

    Read: Harrison Bergeron

The Jupiter Knife ( Cunning Man series) by Dave Butler and Aaron Ritchey came out today as did The Gun Runner by Larry Correia and John Brown. I bought both but haven’t had a chance to read any of them. My Kindle list has grown again...

Billy the Kid The Final Word by Bob Boze Bell. It just came out and I got my copy yesterday. It’s the final word because it’s the third edition Bell has done. I love his books. They are historical “graphic novel” type books. They are filled with his art, pictures, and maps. I got my copy through True West on Amazon after I saw a live feed with him talking about his new book. I also got a copy of his book Classic Gunfights Vol One. Both will go neatly with his books about Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday.
