Thread: Knife sheath maker?

    Knife sheath maker?

I need a kydex sheath for a small Bowie fighter I have. I have heard too many horror stories of nice knives being sent off to never return and I am looking for someone I can trust. Recommendations?

    Thanks

    Darkstar Gear.

Tom is great and very trustworthy. I would send him a heirloom pistol to make a holster for it without any concerns of not getting it back.

    ETA:
For reference I sent him a M&P Shield for holsters and never worried one minute.

    Try Mike Sastre at http://www.rivercitysheaths.com/Default.htm

Several years ago Mike made me an inside-the-trousers sheath for one of Murray Carter's field knives (no longer offered) http://www.cartercutlery.com/ I've been really pleased with Mike's work.

Tom at Dark Star Gear and Rich at Custom Carry Concepts both have my complete trust and have made me excellent sheaths.

Another vote for Dark Star Gear. He's made a couple of sheaths for me and they turned out very well, and the price was quite reasonable.

Dale Fricke did one for me. Very nice work.
