I have been carrying the VP9 since it came out and USPs before that. There are two very good options for having sights installed on H&K pistols that I have personally used.

First, have the H&K factory armorers do it. Call the factory service department for an RMA number and send your gun and sights in. Aftermarket sights are fine with H&K. If you ask they will zero them on their factory range with their ammo.

Second, Lazy Wolf Custom Guns has zeroed my 10-8 sights on my VP9s with my carry load while they have the gun in for custom work.

    Hope this helps.

    Tony

Installed trijicon hd xr on my p30. Have been very happy with them over the 10-8 fiber setup I had.

I would love Ameriglo agents for it though. If available.

I like the Trijicon HD-XR front paired with a Wilson Vickers Battlesight rear.
High visibility front with a lower profile contoured rear.

I agree with the Wilson Vickers sights.

Really like the green front and yellow rears. Best night sight setup for the vp9/p30 in my opinion. I ratios work well for the p30L.

I also like 10-8 for fiber. .140 rear and .115 front.

Any issue with the Trijicon front sight height working with the WC Battle Sight? Trijicon list the front sight height as 0.215.

Ditto. I do like that rear more as well.

The Wilson rear is designed around a .225" front sight.
The .010" shorter HD front sight basically changes it from a "drive the dot" into more of a "top of the front post" POA/POI at 25Y.

This is great information. Thank you. One of my big gripes has been the “drive the dot” with the triji setup

How sharp is the rear Wilson compared to an HD?
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

Butter knife vs. clinch pick, comparatively speaking.

The serrations are fairly dull. The rear of the sight is angled forward. The only pointy bits are the corners of the notch on my samples.
