    Vortex Crossfire II 1-4x24

Anyone have any hands on experience with the vortex crossfire II with the illuminated center dot.

I saw these on SWFA handled on of these at Cabelas recently. They didn't have a battery, so I can't comment on the dot, but the glass was awesome. I would like to pick up one later this year.

Got to handle another one of these at the Gunshow this past weekend, this time with a battery installed. Long story short the glass is great but the dot did not seem to "daylight visible" / aimpoint replacement intensity. It'll be fine for my intended use ( hunting rifle with dawn / dusk dot), YMMV.

I bought one with the v-Brite reticle off of amazon and I love it. Took 5 shots to zero at 50 yards and had no problems hitting a 12 inch steel plate at 225 yard with no support. Glass is super clear and red dot is not as bright as an aimpoint but it is daytime visible and no fish eye effect. I really like it.
