As is my practice, I like to check zero before the match Saturday. This was 20 yards, not 25, freestyle, Glock 47, Lawman 124, five shots. I must be lucky today.

Thank you all for the kind words!
I grew up on the M9 in the Marines. It was all I had for 3 years in Okinawa. I carried one almost every day, dry fired the hell out of it, sent myself to pistol range as often as I could to shoot it, and competed with it twice. I was lucky in that my Captain was very much in my corner and let me go to all the training/stuff I wanted as long as I kept the armory in good shape.
Anyway, when I came back stateside and started concealed carrying I ignored my Glocks and carried my 92FS because that’s what I knew. I would shoot my 9mm Glocks sometimes but I eventually sold them off because I was convinced I couldn’t shoot them well. Turns out that to make gains shooting Glocks…you have to only shoot Glocks. Ive now almost exclusively shot and carried Glock 19s for 5 years.
I mostly post these because nothing convinced me to get over my own silliness about the Glock like actually seeing other people accomplish what I didn’t think was possible. It’s really hard to say that the gun is incapable of shooting good groups at 25 yards when people are putting up 100s with factory ammo…
Now I need to see someone break a 90 with a J frame so I have an excuse to get one 😆

I shot a new 2011 that Ed Cameron built for me for the first time today. I fired an initial few shots, made a sight adjustment, and then fired a freestyle group at 20 yards with Lawman 124. I pronounce it zeroed. Ed builds an accurate gun.

If your gun really wouldn't shoot from a Ransom Rest, its time to send it back to S&W... If that was sarcasm, forgive me.
There are a couple other posts with impressive J-frame 25 yard groups, and I've personally shot a few groups off sandbags, that I considered fairly impressive, at that distance. The guns are mechanically capable, but they are unforgiving to shoot freestyle.

I was on the rifle range zeroing an AR this afternoon and got a chance to do some freestyle group shooting at 50 yards.
This was ten shots of Lawman 124 freestyle with a Glock 47 and an Sig Romeo 3 Max.
Then I shot my carry Glock 19/EPS 6, with ten rounds of 124 +P HST at 50.
I made a slight optic adjustment and shot five more HST at 50 with the G19.

It doesn’t look like I can embed an IG video on the forum (at least the preview is showing up as a link), but I wanted to post a recent video from practice to demonstrate—from a purely bullseye perspective— the 25-yards shooting pace.
Well, you may be a man. You may be a leprechaun. Only one thing’s for sure… you’re in the wrong basement.
