Thanks. It's been a good year since I've fine any serious paper punching at 25 yds. Typically, it's 5" metal, but that's not in the range currently.

    Day 2

I covered the target in newspaper and then made a red 3x5 card. It worked out better for me today other than my last group.

    Same order of ammo.

    The card

The "R" is for the high country range master

    "F" for freedom munitions

Sellier & Bellot 124 JHP with a nice "high flier".

I guess I got hot and stupid here with the S&B 115, because this flinch on the 4th shot is HUGE! I left these holes uncovered.

All of the good shots "uncovered".

Conclusion: more work needs to be done. Maybe with the JHP only.

I like this thread. Especially because I suck at shooting at 25 yards.

I had terrible performance with S&B out of my P30 @ 25yds. Win Nato, GDHP+P 124 gr, and handloads are what I do my accuracy evals with. Next trip, reverse the order of ammo used. I have found people can get dialed in more after a mag or two at 25yds. However, eye strain and fatigue set in quickly at distance for some....

Right drift of front sight? Right drift of rear sight moves POI left correct? I suck at this stuff

Rear sight moves point of impact in the direction of movement, front sight moves toward impact point.

Ie: if your group is left move rear sight to the right.

If your group is high, increase height of front sight.

Danke. I could've Google-fu'd, but I thought it was safer asking my tutors

I agree, warm up a bit before you start to work 25.

I want to agree with this, but I try to shoot a cold string to gauge how much I've progressed. Maybe that's what I've been doing wrong.

I can only shoot 25 yds right now, so a warm up of general shooting isn't possible. 20 rds and I'm done right now.
