Cold. It went downhill after this next target.
I don't own a Gen 5 yet.....but we are getting G45s at the end of the year and I'm buying this gen 4 so that I can slap on some Defoor blacked out sights and some Talon grips.
I've got a friend at work that let me shoot his gen 5 19 and I was more interested in the "marksman" barrel. I didn't see any accuracy gains but admittedly I only fired a few rounds through it.
I'll report back at the end of this year/first of next year when I get the G45 issued. I know it will have Ameriglo sights which print high for me at 25 yards on my Gen 4 17 (personal copy) as well as my G30s that has the Ameriglos. I'm also looking forward to running this Tulammo 115 through the G45 to see if I can get tighter groups.
And this duty G17.4....which had a horrible trigger......has become a great trigger after about 4k rounds and thousands of dry fires. I was planning on ditching it but now I'm keeping it.
Damn that one flyer!! 95-5X CZ P-09 RM06 AE147.
Second attempt was 96-4X also with an 8ring flyer.

I don’t do much 25 yd work these days, but I wanted to check the zero on a couple of guns, and POI of some loads. All groups were fired outdoors at an informal shooting area in the desert. Seated, two hands, elbows between knees.
S&W 28-2, 6”, Hogue rosewood monogrip. Three six shot groups: two that hit upper right (on top of each other) were .357 Magnum American Eagle 158gr JSP, lower 6 round group was 110 gr JHP Winchester White Box .357 Magnum.
G19x, large grip adapter with beaver tail. 5 rounds of 115gr Underwood Xtreme Penetrator, 5 rounds of Federal 147gr HST.
I am finding that Tulammo in the 115 grain weight is the ammunition solution I have been looking for. It's stupid accurate for 129.00/thousand. While not 25 yard freestyle, here are a couple of 50 yard freestyle groups I put up yesterday.
This is two different Glock 17.4s .....my work copy with the factory OEM night sights and my personal one with the Ameriglo Agent sights from Brownells.
I ordered a case of it and I am about half way through it. I'm saving pennies for buying my duty G17 so that I can slap some Defoors on it and see if I can get in the 90s at the 50 yard line with it. I need to save up for another case as I am going through my left over Blazer 124 grain pretty fast on speed drills with the shot timer.
Looks like I'll be on my seventh case of 9mm soon for 2019. Wish I could shoot more but alas I am at my limits budget wise. My last raise didn't help much either. Apparently 0.08 cents per hour just don't go as far as it used to.
Regards.
PX4C with RM07 and AE147. I’ve been consistently plagued by flyers when shooting the CZ P-09’s. Obviously not with the much smaller Beretta, which seems weird to me. Shiny new gun syndrome?

Went back and forth between the P-09/RM07 (top) and PX4C/407C (bottom). 10 shots each round then switch, for a total of 30 rounds.
ETA. Sorry it’s rotated 90* counter clockwise.
