Finally got to the club and ran 10 cold at 50 yards.

Found out my Glock 44 can perform well at 50y with good ammo. Put up a 94-3x on a dirty target with Aguilla standard velocity. Was pretty shocked how well the G44 did.

    Regards.

50 is no joke, and that's a great target.

This was my first (and so far only) attempt at that distance with my M&P. Full Apex guts with a fitted Storm Lake barrel from Grant at G&R Tactical:

From the 25 yard string on a run of the fbi bullseye course.

Bric tac lower, 22 conversion, converted to dao, holosun 407co on a trijicon dovetail mount. What a monstrosity.

Highlight of the day, as the rest of my shooting at 25 was garbage.

I’ve been restricting my range sessions to 50 live rounds lately, with trying to make every shot count, and doing a lot more dry presses. I have a way to go, before I even think about trying to speed up more.

Last evening- started out with my customary cold 25 yard controlled pair of my carry HST 124+P, from AIWB concealment with my carry pistol, both to COM, 2.5 second par time. Good confidence builder.

Followed up with 15 controlled pairs at 25, from my PHLster Floodlight AIWB but with no cover garment, par 2.5 seconds on each pair, with the PMM comped VP9 and RMR (identical copy of my carry pistol) and S&B 124 grain, which prints close to my HST 124 +P carry load. Dropped one round low, 3 slightly left and a couple slightly right of the gumdrop. The rest were acceptable.

Then 20 reps of head drills at 25 with a 2 second par, single shots, from low ready, with the SRO equipped VP9 long slide and using WIN M1152 (which has been remarkably accurate for me in this pistol).

As you can see from the pasters, that needs a lot more work. I have a tendency to “necklace” the head, rather badly.

For me, this 50-round drill really enforces a good grip and press.

CCI mini mags. Pistol has also started running my RWS stash at 100% which is a blessing in these trying times.

I'm vetting a G26. Only have a few hundred rounds through it, but I like it so far.

    93/100, 4X. Cold. .

Impacts in the 7 ring are operator error, unfortunately.

Nice job; G26 punches far above its size, no matter the generation.

Thanks GAP. Your Gen 5 G26 thread helped motivate to try the G26 again.

Great shooting and an eye-opener on the G44 accuracy!
