Freestyle shooting at 25 yds revisited

Shadow2, Production rig. 25yd Bill Drill. Target focus. One of several good runs today. Maybe more importantly, I didn’t have any disasters.

RTF2 G22. I could see getting this pistol a KKM barrel.

Damn Man, that's pretty damn good for a stock barrel.

Note to self: Do NOT challenge JHC to shooting contest at 25 yards.

93ish /4x with my work gun - Glock 19 Gen4 with HD sights and random ball ammo. Most likely magtec. There’s two out where the 8 ring would be one at 8 o’clock and one at 11:30 which are all me.

Pshaw, that's just passable. I've seen a five shot group; 50 with 5X shot from another RTF2 G22 with a Glock barrel; an issued G22 from 25 yards in the hands of a real driver (ain't me).

Anything resembling precision has sucked the last couple months. Probably because some training I did got in my head a little too much and trying to apply principles that apply to seven yards and in at 15-25+ just doesn't work. Took a rifle class earlier this week and had a great reminder to breathing control, took that to the pistol range. Drifted my sights back over where they belong, and I'd say we're good to go. Plus remember to breathe, and don't hold it too long before squeezing the shot off.

If this wasn't my first attempt where they were all in the black, it's only the second or maybe third. I usually manage to drop one somewhere in the 8 ring.

Took it on out to 50 yards (more like 55, i think), and 70. X's were SA at 50, O DA at 50, and [] DA at 70. No time, just trying to make decent hits, and it was getting pretty dark by that point. 15 rounds all on the silhouette, albeit a couple were barely. I'll take it.

    This ammo shortage......I hate it.

Had a go with the P320 Compact today. I've dry fired the thing quite a bit and really do like the feel of everything but the trigger. Trigger isn't bad, either, just very different from what I'm used to. Don't like the front sight. Too wide, and the white dot is hoooooge compared to everything else I have around.

LGS had a few hundred rounds of 150 gr Syntech on the shelf. I've tossed the idea of buying some around, so I grabbed it. Has an odd report to it through my ear pro, but damn, I like this stuff a bunch. Going to save the rest of it to shoot USPSA matches with, but it could be among my favorite ammo really quickly.

Snatched the trigger somewhere in the middle of the string and dropped the really low shot, got pissed and yanked the one high. Don't know where the other 8 ring came from.

Pretty sure the one that cut the 8/9 ring was shot #1. I'll take it.

Long time lurker to this thread. 25 yard zero confirmation after getting my Langdon RDO slide yesterday and mounting up an RM06, then a random 25 yard bull with my Glock 20.
