I used to shoot at Blackhawk when I lived in San Antonio in the mid-late 80's. Long drive but a nice facility. Driving in one day some horses were loose and as I drove past them I noticed these gaping wounds on one or two of their necks. I was like "holy shit! I better tell somebody".

So in the pro shop I describe it and the fellow there was like "meh, they're just fighting". And I said "FIGHTING? What do they fight with, Bowie knives?"

He says "They bite." I was astounded. I had nil horse experience, had no idea. Tough to offer one a carrot since.

Those are the best 5 presses I've gotten with a standard frame Glock in a long time. Thoroughly warmed up at that point. This was using a 6:00 hold with Glock OEM tritium sights.

But this cold 40 yard test was well prior upon setting up on the range. The 5 hits circled in red were from the black 43X in ~20 sec. The two tight ones marked 9mm Op were from the Sams tuned 9mm Combat Operator.

Thanks, a smidge left but I did it cold and relatively fast.

The Gen 5’s are damn sweet shooters.

G22 with AA conversion slide and Warren sights shooting mini mags.

10 rounds to check my sight adjustment. Hit really high. Adjusted POA, and Boom! Scored a 99-4x. Shot about one every three to four seconds for the course of fire.

This is a PR for me.

Did you notice 147 HST specifically impacting a little left?

I just got a 43X and installed my usual Defoor sights. 147 HST was just left of the bull in the 8 ring at 25. I figured it was probably me, until I tried 124 gr +p gold dot and all my 115 gr practice ammo. Everything else was POA/POI except 147 HST.
