Get out the overlay. A definite 100. Nice shooting.

Did some 10 yard zero shooting before taking to 25. Still surprised how much variance there can be from brand to brand.

I shall start to refer to my fliers as "Paul Harrel shots" since "it's just me".

I'll be sad to run out of Win Ready. It's pretty good stuff, in my opinion, and I don't see it often.

Thank you kindly. I need more range time, things untimed go well, not as much with a timer.

Frustration, thy name is "B8" ...

I know some of you guys can shoot hundos double action, blindfolded, holding the gun upside down, and using your pinky... but putting 10/10 in the black has been eluding me for a long spell now. Some day I'll beat that low left shank.

Got some more DAO action in today. Shot a 98, Hundo, and caught the last one on camera. I called it a 99, but a gent there on the BookFace called it another Hundo.

Scored my first couple hundos today with my Taurus TX-22 Comp with a 507c.

Edit: my phone rotated the pic 90* left.

I didn’t take a picture (I wish I had) but shot a 94 in 13.5 seconds at a Defoor pistol class recently using my G5 G19 with RMR. I did get a hat though, and that felt pretty darn good.

In progress 9mm Colt re-build test fire day.

This was the 2nd test fire for this particular pistol. Prior to the fist test fire I forgot to throat the barrel for hollow points so had a bunch of jams with that ammo. Corrected the issue, re-test fired. 130ish hollow points without issue.

FYI this is the factory colt pencil barrel that has been laser welded and re-fit.

    FBI Bullseye Qual.

Confession. I have never been able to shot 1911's as well as berretta's. But this the best group (size wise) I've ever shot on this qual. The front sight is a little tall. The rounds fired at 25 yards were clustering 5-6 o'clock in the 8 ring. POA was dead center of x-ring. Will let the owner determine how he wants the sights set up. If he likes a drive the dot I'll leave it as is.
