Like this. I get “this” a lot.
Started today pushing for speed with the Vice Card Challenge. Wrapped up trying to make sure the precision stays strong too. Couldn’t break a 98 though.

Took about a month off. This was cold and the first time shooting Syntec 9mm 150gr (the red lipstick ammo).
I'll be honest, I assumed I would shoot like a 98 if the ammo was POA/POI...
...NAILED IT!!!
This was my second magazine of the day, same ammo:
I have trouble keeping the front sight in focus. And then around the 6th round I get impatient. Maybe poker is not my game. I want to keep trying until I get 100 so I will keep doing maybe 2 groups at the start of each session.
I still have lots to learn with the 2011 so I can't really talk to how well that ammo shot. I feel like every session I am back to square one with my grip, trigger finger, and weak hand position etc. While I haven't touched the Glock in a few months I can pick it up and it feels more normal.
Went through a box of Syntech and the only thing I can say for certain: LAX 135gr is softer shooting. That was a surprise based on the energy numbers. LAX is 288 ft-lbs, Syntech is 264 ft-lbs. And the LAX is cheaper to boot!
Next session I need to bring the G5G34 along and see how it does compared to the STI. I also have a red dot on a Neumount that I can move from gun to gun. With the dot I should have no excuses... 100-10x!

10 shots @ 25 yard
Testing new Trijicon HDs
This thread inspired me to shoot mainly at 25 yards today in live fire. It did not go well for me. My marksmanship at the 10 yard line did not translate as I'd hoped out at 25 yards.
Kudos to the marksmanship posted in this thread! It is well beyond my abilities to even achieve a scored B8 at this distance still.
PR today. 98-2X. Generally shot well.
ETA. Sorry it’s sideways.
