The competition scores per the following: everything in the grey is a hit, the X-ring is used as a tie breaker. Last year new to the Cadets he took 3rd overall out of 400ish. This year I think he stands a good chance of winning the competition.

The distances are written on the left side of the target all in yards. We had the range to ourselves until the 20 yard and 25 yard lines. We were shooting this as a walkback from 25 yards down range so we hurried through the last two firing points and I did not record the score for each spot. I did the math after and he scored 5 more X's between the 20 & 25 yard line. A total of 31/40 possible X's.

    Shot with Speer Lawman ammo 115 gn. & a Gen 5 G17.

    First three stages of 500 aggregate: slow, 5 in 20sx2, 5 in 10s x2.

Mostly I am impressed with the Silver Bear ammo. For me anyway, most steel ammo groups fairly decently.

Tried and got close. Still had problems with vision being able to see the hold.

Not so good of a day yesterday. These were the only decent targets I had.

Had someone give me a half a case of Blazer 115 grain for some gunsmithing. Okay, I guess but not as tight as that Winchester I had. There's talk of replacing our G17s with G45s soon. I'll probably buy this pistol (if the price is right) and put some blacked out Defoors on it.

Forgot my reading glasses yesterday too so that's my current excuse.

    Regards.

This G17 has a little hitch in the trigger when you come to the wall.....it sort of slides to a break. I hate it.....loath it....wish it nothing but doom and despair.

If I do buy it, I'm going to gut parts until I figure out what is causing that. Out of all my Glocks, this is the only one that does it.

So maybe one day, I'll be able to put up a solid 100 with about 8 Xs with it. I do hope the department lets us purchase them if they do go to the G45s. They have the last times we traded them in.

    Honesty and Transparency

*All 10-shot strings fired Freestyle at 25yds, first shot DA, remainder SA.

TFW you try to shoot a 100 on a 25yd B8, but 9-ring is life!

    UGH! THAT'S BAD!

Ended on a high note, but still couldn't get there. Y'all, I'm serious, if I ever do manage to finally shoot a 100, Imma frame it!

My second target yesterday I put one in the five ring at 12 o’clock.

Still haven’t figured that one out!
