I can definitely feel the rest of my shooting hand tighten, so at least I know what to work on. That flier up top was me shooting the last round in my box at the head target...epic fail lol

The ammo was 230 grain LRN over 6.3 grains of unique...or as I like to call it, the "Blackpowder load"

More ball and dummy for me. I just got a 500 pack of 200 grain SWCs so I plan to cook up some target loads

In other news: that's the one thousandth bullet through the gun that I just muffed trying for the headshot
So this above target was shot at the same range I just shot at today. One of the first 25 yard groups I ever fired. I posted way long ago thinking I was a decent shot LOL.

A little concentration, a ton of dry fire, and a metric shitload of rimfire trigger presses go a long way.

Case in point...a five shot group with a LTT 92, and a five shot group with a RRA Poly framed 1911.

I still get the occasional snatch and sometimes have trouble keeping focus through a string, but I was looking back through this thread to see where I started to gauge how I'm doing today.

No, it ain’t great, but made the first trip out in a bit today. It was a tad breezy, but the sun was in a good spot. This is definitely an all SA or DA drill. Making myself focus on the front sight helped a lot. Had no idea if I was even on the paper til round 3-5 when I hit the first 8 ring.

    I’ll take it.

Had a good morning with the Tul Ammo and Glock:

Checked the sights after seeing target and indeed the rear was bumped slightly to the right.

Got all ten pretty consistent this time with the superlative 9mm Operator tuned by Dave Sams.

If I've shot a 99 before it's been quite awhile.
