I know it’s a bit weird, but I prefer regular Makers to Makers 46. I need to give the 46 another “shot”....

Never had the 46, and it's been a while since I last had Maker's due to finding it a bit too sweet compared to some other bourbons we like. Tastes change, however, so who knows what the future holds?

I'll rate the Wellers very good for the price. If you like Buffalo Trace you will probably like it.

The Weller 107 is one of my favorite bourbons but I don't care for the Special Reserve.

I have yet to try the 12 year version or the unobtainable WLW.

Which Weller offering is it that I should keep an eye out for in this case?

Weller Special Reserve is what I bought.

Me and Bourbon Buddy are on opposite sides of this question.

I like the 107, but I think the 12 is WAY better. He thinks I'm nuts.

I'm happy to revisit the question at any hands on opportunity.

    I can pee outside.
I've come to enjoy the Evan Williams bottled in bond as a switch up now and then.
    Thanks Mr. Roy.

107 is one of my favorites. I like the 12 year, but prefer the 107.

I recently discovered Buffalo Trace and Blanton's when on a trip through Kentucky. I stopped at the distillery.

I like Jim Beam Select (which I think you can only get at the Urban Stillhouse in Louisville) and the Fire Cut. Maker's Mark is another favorite. I like "Gentleman Jack" better than regular Jack Daniels.

There is a local bourbon called J.Henry that I enjoy.

I recently learned the trick of using an eye dropper to carefully add a little water to your whiskey.

For scotch, I REALLY like Scapa, which doesn't have a strong peat flavor, and various varieties of Laphroaig, which does.
