Blanton’s fixes the price at $55 or $60 I think. Some places gouge and I’ve paid over $80 because I consider it that good. Reminds me I need to email Blanton’s and let them know about that vendor.

We can't get Weller here,at all,ever. I can see paying a bit more due to availability at least for a Weller 12.

Maybe after I've sampled all the variety they have, I can circle back to something that price.

I have to remember that I'm paying a premium for poison that I'm turning into piss. There are plenty of the $35-$50 bottles that I thoroughly enjoy, which makes it hard for me to pay that much.

How's the Watkins?
I've got some here I'm planning on gifting (to a friend with the same name), but have never tried it.

It's not bad for the price. I do not remember what I paid for it, just that it checked the box for "worth the money."

A friend that works at the local Total recommended it, and had an open bottle. I think it would make a good "summer over ice" Bourbon, and probably really good in a julep.
