Buffalo Trace just released a new batch of Bourbon Cream about two weeks ago. Makes the best grown-up milk shakes on Earth. Just add it to some Blue Bell Double Vanilla ice cream.

It is good in milk shakes, rocks in root beer floats, and makes a great creamer for coffee.

Damnit. I can not find a bottle of Van Winkle or Weller to save my life here in Chicago. If anyone in the area has a recommendation on who I might contact.

I’m thinking the wife and I may well take a bourbon tour at the end of the summer/early fall this year. In hopes I can score a few things from the source.

You're not alone. I called around to a few stores about Weller and am pretty much SOL any time soon. Hell, one store was completely depleted of BT and Eagle Rare too. They had nothing from the BT distillery.

I need to get back closer to God's Country so I can take my wife on a weekend trip through bourbon country . . . and maybe just pick up a few bottles. Y'know, souvenirs.
