    That looks interesting.!
How much rum comes through in the finished product?

Will need to look for this....

I sort of get something about the dark molasses or tabaco notes that are characteristic of a dark rum, but it doesn’t have the sweetness of rum, it’s still very much a bourbon. I’ve tried a bunch of different re-cask stuff this year: Carribean Cask, Ocean Aged, Port Barrel, Sherry Barrel...everything has been pretty obvious until this one. It’s really unique.

Not that's savage. I wouldn't do that but I have no issues using good shit for good cocktails.

Seriously mixed on this stuff though. It has a second hand value of $850 or more and I don't like bourbon nearly as much. Perhaps I can swap it for some killer scotch?
    Think for yourself. Question authority.

You guys are way out of my league. I feel so pedestrian...

If you haven’t eaten at the Reata restaurant in Ft Worth, I suggest you do at NRA 18. Here are two bottles of their selections that I am trying tonight.

I'm curious how this compares to the Angel's Envy Rye (also finished in Rum Casks). May need to pick up a bottle.

I'm a big fan of Tin Cup, made in Denver. Very reasonably priced.

Of course being the holiday we are about out.

You should get over to this side of the Metromess more often. I have both of those on my shelf.

    I'd trade it off. Seriously.
