Makers, Gentleman Jack and Jameson (wife likes it with ginger ale) is what I usually have on hand. The Kirkland stuff isn't bad for being so cheap. I am more of a beer guy though, specifically IPA's.

Sean, I tried to respond to your PM from a while ago but you have it turned off.

I haven't seen Eagle Rare in over six months. It's unobtanium around here.
I've been slumming it with Very Old Barton (~$24 for a 1.75). It's quite good for casual bourbon & coke zero drinkin'.
My go-to under $30 is usually Buffalo Trace or Elijah Craig 12.

Eagle Rare is a phenomenal bourbon for a ridiculous price...

    Ridiculous as in ridiculously underpriced?

My default is Knob Creek. I love the complexity it has and can sip it all night.

My standard option is Maker's Mark. It is very reasonably priced and for the gun trivia value, was told it was a favorite of Jeff Cooper.

I would say quite reasonably priced for a phenomenal bourbon.
My local shop owner is a bit of a bourbon connoisseur. Also, his wife grew up in bourbon country. He says they had a tornado a few years ago hit a aging building and it is just now majorly effecting stock.

For the money, I think it's very difficult to beat Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare.

The hard part is finding a driver... Maybe if we offer to buy lunch?
