Picked up some Russell's reserve to try.

Case discounts are a glorious thing.
It's 32 months old, 45.7 percent ABV, and it's $33 at Spec's. Total had more bottles but was $43 a bottle. Plus they give a 10 percent veteran discount at Spec's.
I now have enough liquor for the weekend.
My bourbon collection is going well. I picked up 3 more Blanton’s today while in Virginia visiting my daughter.
Bought a Maker's 46 last evening. Nothing to scream about!
The Russell's reserve is very good.
Sadly , there's nary a drop of Buffalo Trace to be found.

From what I’ve seen between Virginia, SC, NC, and GA...finding Buffalo Trace is regional. It was stacked deep on the shelf in GA and SC. In NC and VA It will not be there long. 🤷🏼*♂️
Blanton’s, on the other hand, cannot be found Within a day of being delivered. A fifth in N.C. and VA is ~$64 and is gone relatively quick. I found one bottle in Hinesville, GA and it was $170. It was still there when I left.
The mainstream stores around me rarely have BT in stock. The out of the way low volume stores seem to always have BT in stock.
