I asked them to sell me the case, since I was leaving town and they could, apparently, get more. No dice, but, it was good for a shared laugh.
I was at the Durham store on Durham/Chapel Hill Blvd a month ago. They had McKenna 10 year just sitting. No limit on buying either. You cannot keep it on the shelves in Wake/Johnston counties…but they have it on the regular apparently. On that end of Durham and being so close to Chapel Hill, I was surprised being that there are a lot of high rollers in that area. They also had some Hennessy that was close to $3000. Said they would sell it quick too.

    Took some pics too…

Ive got a couple of semi rural honey holes that generally have McKenna. Forsyth County's stores look like they are going out of business or a swarm of locusts hit. Say it is an issue with the state warehouse. Their flagship bourbon site literally had bare shelves last time I went in a couple of weeks ago

This is true. LB&B changed their delivery software with no test run and promptly deleted the old software. I’m not in logistics but that was a bad idea…Many stores look very picked over.

A bunch ot the truck drivers quit too. It's a shitshow. On the plus side, apparently we will be able to order online soon and pick up at the local store.

Couple new bottles today on a whim while I drove home from an afternoon of clays. Really enjoying the True Blue - will have to give more of this line a try.

    I can pee outside.
I've had the blue, wasn't a fan. To me, it was rye like, and 'hot'. A dropper of water opened it, and really brought out the corn.
