Let me know what you think of that. I gave Cecil a bottle of their white dog, since he'd already had the 36. I am curious how it will compare to Buffalo Trace's white dog, it's a lower ABV.

When I get the single barrel Hermann Marshall, I'll give you a shout.

The .36 bourbon is hands down my favorite. Been traveling too much to get a chance to try the white dog, but I plan on doing so this coming weekend. I have been looking at some mixer ideas. Got some kick ass maraschino cherries to add to it, so I have a head start.

Found a handle of Buffalo Trace at my local retailer this afternoon, so didn't try anything new... Although the weekend is still young.

Anyone tried the Mitcher's Rye? How does it compare to Bulleit Rye?

While I did enjoy that movie, it was unfortunate that the Brits apparently think that the TV show Dallas was made in Kentucky. “Why, of course we dress like 1970’s Texans in rural Kentucky.”

I will have to send you some other cherries to try. Woodford Reserve makes some excellent ones processed in their old Bourbon barrels, and Luxardo from Italy are probably the best I have tried.
