    Those are some of my favorites.

    Weller 107, but it's doubtful you can find it for $45 these days. I paid $25 for my last bottle found in the wild but that was a special situation.

    I think those might both be good suggestions for what he is asking, but Lineage is malt whiskey.

    Ah, good point. I really have enjoyed Lineage, and it's a steal at $30 a bottle.

    I think it was Whiskey Advocate magazine that listed their top 20 whiskeys this year, and it made the list.

    The local Spec's liquor gives a 10 percent discount to veterans and first responders. So that $33 dollar bottle becomes $30, and you walk out with a case of really nice whiskey for less than $200. That was how I took care of the minions this year.
