That time I dual-sported my Ninja 1K to a 120 year old abandoned railroad tunnel...
Then went back on an actual dual-sport...
Didn't get to explore the tunnel...immediately after the opening, it went to waist deep water.
Versys 1K in Key West...
Alabama DOT, hiring only the brightest. It wasn't a one-off typo...the signs on both ends of the construction zone were spelled this way.

Yep, 2013 Terra. I also had a set of 650 Strada wheels...
I kept it a couple of years. It fell into that hole of Husky brand ownership between BMW and KTM...and neither company wanted to take responsibility of it. I was dubious of parts/service availability from KTM and decided to sell it (when I tried to tried it in on a Duke 690, they low-balled me an offer of $1200 because they didn't want to deal with it. They also told me that they refused to work on them).
I'm getting nervous about future parts availability with my '06 TE610. Thinking about moving it on and picking up an FE501, which I would easily plate here in TX.

I loved my '06 610...wish I'd never sold it. I also owned an '05 510 at the same time...sold both @ 3 years ago. The 610 is a tractor, the 510 an absolute beast.
The 501 would probably be the perfect dual-sport, though. I normally have a revolving garage door with motorcycles, but I've had my tagged '12 450 XCW since 2018, and have no plans to get rid of it. In fact, I sold my Africa Twin last summer and the KTM is my sole bike for now.
