I let mine hang off the end a little bit. I recently trimmed it down because it does add more bulge to the holster.

I've only used a dr scholl's gel heel thingy. I like it a lot. I line it up right at the end of the muzzle

Yeah..... I don't get that at all.
I lack the negative space in my midsection to make even one of the mags conceal ;-)
