Sentimental value, essentially. Yes, I've spent way more on that gun over time than someone should.
It was the first gun I ever bought myself. Walked in when I turned 21, saw what looked like an AK (it was in stock "sporter" form) in a caliber I recognized. It was only $199 so I grabbed it.

Sabre Fluted 20 inch Stainless Steel barrel - midlength! - 6.5 Grendel
Unknown freefloat handguard (Diamondback?)
WCI comp - effective and loud
Anderson lower that I built up with parts kit
Geisselle G2S trigger
ACE Stock
Primary Arms 4-14 ACSS scope (since replaced with a Vortex Viper PST 4-16 MRAD)
Note: in my experience, the 6.5 Grendel 120-123 projectiles match the ACSS reticle for 308
Ran this combination with my reloads to 900 yards at a long range event at the Arena Facility (formerly Legion) near Blakely, GA
KAC MOD 2 CQB with 11.5" bbl. topped off with a Leupold Mk4 1.5-5 variable in a KAC 30mm mount. I'm really digging variable optics over my Aimpoints at the moment.
