I've got three ARs.
Just something different. Plus this is grandfathered as a pistol (with the folding stock) here in Michigan so I'll never part with it.
It's in progress, waiting on end plate and castle nut.

I recently finished this for the Misses. Upper is a BCM with a Daniel Defense LW midlength barrel and BCG, ALG handguard, JP mount with a Burris TAC30, Lower is a Spikes with Magpul furniture. Sling is a Blue Force.
She is taking it to her first carbine class this weekend.

It barely qualifies as a "long" gun at 31.5" long, but how about a TC Encore in 35 Whelen with a 17" MGM barrel:
I thought I would lose a lot with that short barrel, but 200gr Core-Lokts do 2554fps, losing only 125fps over Remington's 24" factory barrel.
Hopefully reloading can close the gap even more. I'd like to get 250s up to about 2400fps.
