In 2018 I bought this MVP on a whim. I liked that it fed from AR pattern mags.
Replaced the trigger guard and magwell with the Tromix setup, and turned this finicky rifle into a very reliable shooter.
I don't shoot it as often as I should, but it prefers 69 grain handloads.

I had one years ago, the Predator MVP version. It was a nice little rifle and shot really well for the price point. It never fed perfectly from the AR mags and I sold it to build a 1:7 twist 223 that would shoot the long 75 and 80 grain Amax. The Tromix setup sounds like a good upgrade.
-Seconds Count. Misses Don't-
The Tromix magwell eliminated the mag wobble, which causes the misfeeds in the 556 guns.
I did the trigger guard, well, just because.
For a pretty inexpensive rifle, she'll really shoot.

Brought home the 1301C this afternoon, should have the Beretta 12ga auto subject covered pretty well...
PS: Happiness is a clean workbench (just cleaned up, haven't seen the top of it in a while...)!
Thanks! CTR bottom metal. I could not get a left handed CTR at the time. So I bought a left handed T3 Hunter in .260.
I fitted a right handed CTR stock to it, but then decided to build this stock for better fit and function. Currently wears a 6.5 Creed barrel from another CTR, but I have also swapped a 6x47Lapua barrel on as well. For PRS shooting I like a longer fore end, and the adjustable cheek piece.
I’m a big fan of the ergonomics of the KRG Bravo stock, but they do not offer the Bravo left handed.
