I planned on making a .350 Rem Mag to go with a 6.5 Rem Mag I have, but never did. I think I have a a bunch of unfired and new brass in the reloading room.

No issues with cheek weld/sight picture with the optic that tall?

Got my first M1 Garand today. The guy bought it from the CMP about 30 or 40 years ago and paid a measly $135. He had the stock refinished and put in a .308 barrel and a block in the magazine to keep from loading .30-06 ammo. Since it's my first M1 he threw in some manuals and paperwork, 3 clips, and 110 rounds of ammo.

The point of the high mount is to make viewing the optic easier. without craning my neck and keeping my head upright. I've tried a T1 on a geissele 1.93" and I liked it alot. 2.26" might be just a tad high
