    Need to set something up for us NH folks. With enough notice I'd take a ride to SW NH.

    Contribution to photo thread: an old but updated SF Millenium 951 mounted on my BCM 16-inch mid-length;

    And a couple things I've been wanting for a while. A really rough Savage clone of an Auto-5 and an NEF Handi rifle in .223. The Savage will get cut down to a whippet gun.

    10-20 mph gusting wind makes things challenging at 1170yds. I was very happy with a 2nd round dead center hit, using a 3 mil wind hold.

    Wind was even more intense today, 15-25mph at the ground, and stronger gusts. I cleaned our array of small & med steel out to 680, and got a 2nd round hit on the 830yd target holding for 20mph. The 1170yd target laughed at me as I put splashes to the right, left, under, and over, with a ~4mil windage hold (14’ off target). Close but no joy. Good day!

    Picked up this NEF Handi-rifle in .223 a couple weeks ago and just finished mounting a Leupold 2-7 on it that I've had kicking around for years. The whole package is a little heavy for what it is but not bad and it's fairly compact. Should be a fun plinker. It's a shame NEF/H&R is out of business because I really like these single shots. I also have a .243 and a .30-06 scoped and .45-70 and .30-30 iron sighted plus a whole mess of 12 and 20 gauge singles.
