Neat gun!It barely qualifies as a "long" gun at 31.5" long, but how about a TC Encore in 35 Whelen with a 17" MGM barrel:
I thought I would lose a lot with that short barrel, but 200gr Core-Lokts do 2554fps, losing only 125fps over Remington's 24" factory barrel.
Hopefully reloading can close the gap even more. I'd like to get 250s up to about 2400fps.
