We need to convince SKD to do another run of SLGís slings.

I hadn't realized that they no longer offered them. This sucks! I was actually going to order another for a .22

I emailed last year to be notified. I was wondering what was going on. I'd like to have 2 or 3 more.

My 1/8 likes 77s just fine. In my limited experience you'll see barrels prefer different projectiles but not necessarily different projectile weights. If it's stable it's stable.

Lots of good general 223 information.

Different rifles (barrels) vary. I have a Savage BVSS Model 12 1-9 that shoots 77s sub moa and 80s 1.5 MOA at 100 yards - the BVSS 1-9 seems to shoots 40s to 80s but certainly prefers 55s and 60s. One of my 1-9 ARs shoots 77s into a 4 inch group at 100. I have a couple of 1-8s (Savage Bolt and a Bergara AR barrel) that shoots 77s fine. (all these are 223 or 556)

Thanks! I am new to ARs and rifles in general so I appreciate the info.

    Something more traditional.
