following history is wonderful and all, but try not to lame it out. The big battle scene was pretty horrible. I've seen those D&D kids do a better job in the local park. Other than the one on one scenes it's not that well done. Watch the guys "fighting" in the background, they hardly look like they are trying. Sorely disappointed.

Historical accuracy takes a back seat to cinematography unfortunately. I can't decide if I should give them points for attempting to include historically accurate things like the shield wall, or curse them for butchering the execution of said historically accurate things.
Then again perhaps I've just read entirely too much Bernard Cornwell and I'm being picky...
