For the 228 lovers. This is my last issued LSP pistol, a 228 born in 2000 and purchased upon retirement in 2008. Leather is vintage Milt Sparks Summer Special and single mag pouch.

All the rusty grip screws. Glorious.

Any SIG that has ever been carried for more than 28 minutes has some fucked up grip screws.

(Wow. XS Big Dots. That's a little embarrassing.)

    Here's a more on-topic one:

I still thought .40 was cool back then, too. I owned a Border Marshal and a 96D at about the same time...
That GSR set up is sweet. How did you like the XS sights? I have found that my over 50 yr old eyes like em on my G19 and G30s. Someone told me XS sights could not make accurate shots out at 25 yards and so I shot em at 25 yards holding the top of the front dot and put 14 out of 15 rounds inside the "0" circle of an IDPA target using my G19. Managed to pull one shot as I picked up speed towards the end of that string of fire. Found the XS sights to work ok for me. I used the standard dot front sight though not the big one. No matter on the XS sights, that GSR is a nice looking 1911 variant. The knife and holster round out that set up quite nicely.. SIG does not market that particular GSR model any longer...correct?? How do you like the GSR?

SICK! I like the work you have done. Have you provided a full review here in P-F on that set up??

Nice litter of 226s! Not to pollute the pic thread, but I'd be interested in your thoughts on the 320.

That's the first thing I replace when I'm issued/buy a 22x series gun. Usually use Hogue stainless.....

Rust is a retention feature. The first thing I add is Loctite, especially on P229's
