    proper distance to shoot mozambique drill

    in videos of R Vogel it looks like he is 3 to 5 yards. is there a standard distance for this failure drill ? tried google anf couldn't find it

    FWIW: IDPA's classifier does it at 7Y.

    I practice it at 3,5 and 7 yards. It's a good drill that builds good "shoot them to the ground" skills.

    The LAPD D Platoon (SWAT) Qualification Courses (both the "A" and "B" versions) conduct two failure drills each at 10, 7, 5 and 3 yards.
