Then you buy another one for $15 on Amazon.

Yes, exactly, however, comma, one should know that this is coming AND be ready to replace the holster to avoid a bad surprise in the middle of trying to shoot a mugger in the face.

I bought a Wild Bills pocket holster about 10 years ago. Its still going strong.

    I bought mine in 5-2012.
It has formed into the 642 shape.
But hasn't pulled out with the revolver.

I also bought the Colt DS sized holster for my M642.

I also like the cheaper Mikes or Blackhawk pocket holster.

You are right Chuck I wouldn't want the surprise at all.

WOW pocket carry a 640? I wish I could pull it off.

The 640 and 649 at my 2 favorite Jframes in 357mag or in 38spl+P only
With 3 finger grips I shoot those more accurately than any of my service pistols . 21feet.

PCS French Curve. I find the top edge of the soft holsters like the Nemesis pushes against the pants fabric and thus prints more than I'm happy with. The thin PCS without the excess material above the cylinder's edge is great in the pocket and hides my j frames very well.

For my 642 I have been using the Desantis Nemesis. It works for the task, but IMHO adds a lot of bulk because of its thickness. I have used one of these for a Kahr PM9 and may buy one for a J-frame:

I will probably email Tom at DSG to see what magic he can work first.
