My opinion only...the early FTE issues were a huge disappointment even to Beretta fan boys like me. Those have largely been addressed it seems--I don't know what specific countermeasures Beretta worked to improve the FTEs. It is considered a rule of thumb that 124 gr is required to make the gun work reliably. However some folks report good results with 115gr that has a decent power factor.
Mine was "flawless" for 500 rounds or so then started having regular (2:100 or more), random FTE's no matter the ammo or the conditions. I went back to my standby reliable PM9's.

I carry a Nano exclusively. Bought it last August for the ergonomics and quality.
Beretta seems to have worked out the Gen-1 issues they were having.
I shoot any cheap 115gr FMJ, and have not had a single issue to date.
I have my Federal HST on order, that will be my first hollow point I run through the gun. (took me awhile to research which brand passes FBI test with a 3" barrel)
As to not being discussed on the interwebs, well, it is a small pocket pistol that works, so maybe that is a good thing that there is nothing to rant about.

Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.
My Nano went back to Beretta twice (once to California, once to Accokeek) with zero improvement in reliability.
Mine had a decent Glock like trigger that was probably 8-10#.

Here's my old thread on the Nano from back in 2012.
My recollection of when the malfunctions started was off a little, but pretty close for just running off memory from 2 years ago.
Looks like I probably went through 2000 rounds or so before I gave up on the Nano, with my best run being around 1000 straight with no issues.
When it worked I really liked it, but when it went bad it went real bad and I had no faith in Beretta's ability to fix it.
The Nano appeared to "fix" some of the Kahr PM9's shortcomings (crappy magazine floor plates and that tiny little easily bent slide stop spring) but it proved to be far less reliable than what I'd hoped.
