    Front sight vs. rear sight

Question for anyone with insight into this: when adjusting sights to move POI up or down, will an adjustment to the rear sight height cause exactly the same shift as the same amount of adjustment to the front sight or will the rear sight adjustment cause a more pronounced shift because it is closer to the shooter's eyes? Or do I have that backwards?

The amount of adjustment is based on the sight radius of the pistol and how much the POA and POI are off so why should the amount of movement differ from front to rear. Having said that most of the sights I have installed and adjusted were on Glocks and the rear sight was moved. Depending on the direction you want the POI to move F O R S. Front opposite, rear same.
