    HK45 LEM Conversion

All right, I am about ready to have a stroke here. I received the kit and it has two (2) hammer springs. Which one is the right one to install? I know I'm supposed to take the V1 hammer spring out but since there are two in this kit I am not sure which one to replace it with.

On another note, I had not trouble installing the heavy TRS. However installing the hammer strut I somehow broker my flat spring. Glad I have two of these pistols and now I'm ordering more parts!!!!!

Any help is much, much appreciated!

Any advice on installing the flat spring (pn# 15)?

In regards to the flat spring.... After the broken one is removed, it is as simple as sliding the new one in place with tweezers. Make sure it is oriented properly and you won't have any issues. Now, depending on where the old flat spring broke, you may have bit of a challenge getting it out. If that is the case let me know.

The longer one. The shorter one is for the HK45 Compact.

Alright gun #1 is back together with the longer hammer spring and the heavy TRS with not much hassle. Gun #2 is still disassembled pending the replacement flat spring which just broke at the slight bend near the top on one of the legs. Gun #2's TRS is about to drive me nuts! Why did I try this again? Thanks for the advise on the flat spring I'll make sure to use my wife's "good" tweezers!

I have several flat springs on hand. I can send one your way if you would like.

That's so awesome! I really appreciate the offer but I'm going to buy a few spares for this things as I'm a little concerned I might have weakened some of them in my "installation process". Thanks so much though!

I went direct to HK and they had everything in stock minus one item. Cost was less than the "other" place and it was at my door six days later. I was talking to a human within 15 seconds, the CS rep was very helpful, and actually had a personality. Stock up on those TRS, and flat springs.

Received the parts in the mail this afternoon. I took me all of about 15 minutes to get this thing all the way back together and it's dry firing great! HK customer service was awesome!
