    PVD Coatings on the other hand can be Extremely Wear/Scratch resistant. I use End Mills with AlTin PVD coating to increase tool life 300-400%. The Color is kind of a Dark Purple/Dark Bronze. I have been pondering sending one of my frames out for coating

    Just for reference, this is my G19.5 after 1,000 rounds. Not sure this new DLC coating Glock’s using is preventing a fair bit of cosmetic wear. Shoots fine though.

    My VP9 looked much much better even after 7,000+.

    Long as it runs and doesn't rust it's just cosmetic wear. Gives the gun character.
