Revchuck, ever try the 41 special in that M57? If not, you might consider getting some brass and loading it up... makes for a fun, lighter load than the 41 mag and gives you more flexibility with that excellent revolver. I use the same loading dies for the 41 mag when loading the 41 special with the caveat of using a lee 41 mag factory crimp die for 41 special for that part of the loading process.

    Have fun with that M57!!

I thought about it and decided it's not worth the trouble for me. When I finish shooting up the current loads, I'm going to get some 210-grain SWCs and duplicate the old "police" load at about 900-950 fps. That's light enough to shoot a bunch but still retains some meaningful thump for a woods gun.

Couldn't think of a better thing to do instead of watching the biggest cheater of a lifetime get inaugurated than to go buy a gun.

Been missing having a 44 MAG around the house.

Need some leather for rambling in the woods. Let me know what you recommend without breaking the bank.

Thanks for the offer. However, I am a righty.

Nice piece. Hanging around all the old fart revolver groups, the answers I usually get are Barranti, Simply Rugged or El Paso Saddelry in order from most expensive to least expensive, depending on your definition of break the bank.
