Check the date code to see when it was made; if it was before 2010, you likely have no problems.

Is this issue just with the Ranger Bonded 9mm, or would other 9mm ammo be involved as well?
Theoretically, it could be all Winchester ammo made at Alton in a recent date range...

There was a large lot of Winchester Primers that were failing to ignite on the first strike. They are Winchester COMMERCIAL primers used in factories, not the consumer versions sold to individual reloaders. Problem seemed to afflict WhiteBox varieties, but maybe got into some of the SD batches.

I've had two 9mm primers fail to ignite this year, one at MAG-40 in June and one at the CTC Midnight 3 Gun in August. Both were WWB.
The same thing happened in the 9mm WWB line a few years back.

Eever since about the time of the move I have noted a drop in QC from Winchester ammo.
I have a couple of boxes of PDX1 .38special that have severel rounds per box that are badly compressed.
