Why was there no number in the first batch of 42's?

^^^So if you buy a current replacement slide lock lever and a trigger spring housing, you're there? (with current rounded mags)

Just got a reply from Advantage Arms. They said they are looking into a kit for the G42, most likely 2016.

Mine came back from Glock this week and went to the range. I fired 100 or so rounds.

    Winchester WWB

    Hornady 380 Auto 90 gr FTX® Critical Defense®

    Hornady 380 Auto 90 gr XTP®

Gold Dot Personal Protection - 380 Auto

One stove pile with the XTP as the last round of a mag about half way through the rounds. Mixing them up in a mag, no problems

    So the gun runs reasonably.

I do need some practice with it because at 10 yards I'm shooting about 4 inches off point of aim. Shooting a SW Model 19 (I forgot how much that's a nice gun) was right in center black, so it's probably my grip. I tend to shoot left with semis but have pretty much mastered that with full sized guns. When I paid attention I shot center black.

It's nice gun, now that it runs. Also, fired a friend's 44 mag SAA. BOOOM! FLASH! Not very practical for my little hands.

PS - forgot to mention that a couple of mags of Sig Elite Performance 380 went ok as well as a mag of Federal. Just going through the box of all kinds of ammo.
