Who do you guys use to thread the barrel for chokes on the tactical? My local GS won't do it bc its chrome lined.

Did you get the LE version? I believe that version is the one without removable choke tubes. That’s the one I have too.

yupppp LE model unfortunately. Only one I could find in stock for weeks. Then of course the LT's popped up FS yesterday.

I want to send the barrel off to be threaded for chokes.

    Here's what I do:

    1. Brush with Kroil on a rod with the handle cut off, spun in a hand drill. Nasty gray hazmat fluid comes out.

    2. Clean with BoreTech shotgun blend on paper towels in a Bore Wizard.

    3. Swab with WeaponShield on patches.

If it’s a marine model, I’ve got a choked barrel I’ll trade you.

Don’t know the cost of modding a barrel to accept chokes, but it might be easier to source a barrel that’s already threaded.

    It’s just an awesome shotgun.
Thanks for reminding me. I need to take mine out this weekend for a little slugfest!

New barrel is like $700. It's crazy. I heard these can be threaded for around $200. Carlson's used to do it for $150 but their gunsmith retired last summer.

I believe that Briley still offers threading services.
