It's all good, if I remember correctly it's actually fairly easy. There are two screws holding on the recoil pad accessible thru very small holes in the pad. Unscrew those and remove the recoil pad. Remove the internal plastic piece inside the stock. Replace with the Kick-Off system. Re-attach the recoil pad and you're good to go! I might be missing a step but if I figured it out, you should have no problems!
Does that effect the length of pull?

I'm no expert on the 1301 so honestly not sure. It didn't with the configuration I had. See photos... the factory configuration of the buttstock insert and spacer that came on my 1301 came out to be the same length of pull as that of the Kick-off.

Thanks Derek.
Never attribute to conspiracy that which can adequately be explained by clusterfuckery.
I'm pretty sure the recoil problem for me is that the 1301 out of the box is flat out TOO short for my frame & simian length arms (I need my shotguns 13"-13.5" LOP). Trying for my best Haught push-pull with the stock pad kinda gave the gun a running start at me . The 1301 LOP with the limbsaver is measuring 13.5, which is great for me, but might be a hair long for someone extra smallish.

Thanks Tom! I just purchased the full coverage one. I had the screw loosen during test firing with the prototypes. Do you recommend medium or low strength thread locker?
