I would go with the Acro over the micro on top of a 1301 if i wasn't putting it on a CROM.

It's built to put up with more punishment than the micros.

If you give up on the co-witness know/remember you can adjust the drop of the factory stock to accommodate a higher optic. I have an MRO in a Rusty Nutz mount on my 1301 Comp and adjusted the drop up higher, no way I would be able to get my face down behind a peep sight (the Comp just has a rib) but it is fast and perfect.

It is beginning to look like some of our folks are going to do a small group buy of the Holosun AEMS RD for the rifles. I may try borrow one to see if that would be a workable option on a 1301.

Interesting. I would have thought the opposite.

Makes sense... The Micro is expected to survive modern rifle levels of recoil while the Acro must survive a reciprocating slide in all handgun calibers.

What is the lowest mount y’all like for mounting an ACRO on a long gun?

Scalarworx makes an Acro mount that only uses two fasteners, keeping the factory rear. Others make Acro mounts as well. Something that replaces the factory rail is what you're looking for if you aren't stuck with silly policies by a police department.

Tactical Ordnance makes one, too. I've not had either show up to class yet.

I’m not stuck with any regulations anymore! That Scalarworx looks amazing!

I have the Reptilia Saddle Mount for the 1301/A300 on my A300 with the 509T. They make it for the ACRO as well. Sits low and compact.
